Experimental Space Research

The Department of Experimental Space Research develops and constructs instruments for satellite missions to near-Earth space (Cluster, DoubleStar, MMS, THEMIS) to planetary magnetospheres (BepiColombo, Venus Express), the moons (Huygens) and to cometary environments (Rosetta). Data from these missions are analyzed with emphasis on space plasma physics.
