JUICE (JUpiter ICy moons Explorer) is ESA's first mission to the outer solar system. It will carry a total of 11 scientific experiments to study the gas giant Jupiter and three of its largest moons, Ganymede, Callisto and Europa. Planned for launch in 2022 and arrival at Jupiter in 2030, it will spend at least three years making detailed observations of the biggest planet in the Solar System and its moons.

IWF Graz will participate in the magnetometer (J-MAG) development, will calibrate the antennas of the radio wave instrument (RPWI), and is a member in the team of the Particle Environment Package (PEP).
