Dr. Teimuraz V. Zaqarashvili

Role: Main project co-worker

The field of expertise of Dr. T. Zaqarashvili comprises fluid dynamics, plasma magnetohydrodynamics and waves, as well as observational solar and stellar physics. In 1998-2002 he was National representative of Georgia in Joint Organisation for Solar Observations (JOSO).

Univ.-Prof. Mag. Dr. Helmut O. Rucker

Prof. H.O. Rucker specializes in the radio astronomical studies of the Sun and planets. Prof. H.O. Rucker is Co-Investigator of STEREO/WAVES experiment and head of the Department of Extraterrestrial Physics where the project is performed.

Univ.-Prof. Dr. Arnold Hanslmeier

Prof. A. Hanslmeier provides the project team with expertise in the observational and theoretical studies of the Sun. Prof. A. Hanslmeier is the President of Joint Organisation for Solar Observations (JOSO) and a head of the main national cooperation partner of the project - Solar Physics (SoPhy) group at the Institute of Physics, Karl Franzens University of Graz (IP-KFUG).

Role: Project team participant

Prof. M. Breger provides the project team with assistance in the various research and organizational activities, which include collection, preparation and handling of observational data as well as organization of the project workshops (team plus collaborating scientists).

Prof. Dr. Valery V. Zaitsev

Institute: Institute of Applied Physics, Russian Academy of Sciences (IAP-RAS)

Role: Project team participant

Prof. Dr. V.V.Zaitsev is a specialist in the theoretical modelling of space plasmas and interpretation of observations. As head of the Solar Physics group in the IAP-RAS he ensures the theoretical support and the efficient exchange of ideas and models.
